Accelerated Reader/Home Connect

Accelerated Reader is a computer program we use to strengthen our reading skills. Students read books and take multiple choice tests in the program.  The students are then awarded points based on their achievement on the quiz.  Students are required to earn a certain amount of points each quarter set by the teacher. Accelerated Reader has a special feature called Home Connect, which parents/guardians can access outside of school from any computer with an Internet 

Connection. Home Connect allows you to view information about your child's progress. It also allows parents/guardians to sign up to receive email notifications after your child completes an activity or assessment at school.
