Congratulations to Riverview's Fourth Grade Teacher, Ms. Meligan! Today, WREX-13 stopped by and awarded her Teacher of the Week! Her interview will be aired TONIGHT., March 1 on the 5:00 news. Congratulations!
Ms. Meligan has started a "Go Fund Me" for one of her students. Sadly, Rosa was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. For weeks she has been undergoing intensive treatment in the hospital, and then she caught pneumonia. She fought hard to heal, and was happy to go back home with her family. It's wonderful that she's home now. However, getting her back and forth to her chemotherapy treatments has become difficult for her mother. Money raised by this campaign will greatly help this wonderful family, and help alleviate some of the worry Rosa's mom has been dealing with, such as transportation, meals, and lodging. Together we can make sure they have the necessities to help them get through this unimaginable situation. If you are interested in donating, please click on the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/team-rosa-together-we-can-help Any amount will help! Thank you for your time and your contributions!
