Family Literacy Monthly Calendar

One of the best ways to improve students’ scores - and more importantly to set them up for continued success for the rest of their lives - is to read everyday. As you have probably noticed in each newsletter, I have placed a lot of emphasis on reading at home this year. That is because I truly believe that a students’ reading ability has the greatest impact on their success. The best way to get better at something is to practice, and reading is no different. I have included another family reading challenge at the end of each newsletter. Attached is also a copy just in case it was misplaced so that you may print at home. Each student who completes the reading challenge will receive a Mr. Doherty Buck for one free item in the school store!
