COVID-19 Closure Information

Updated 3/31/20: School will be close from Monday 3/16 through Thursday 4/30 with classes expected to resume Friday, May 1st. During this time, the district will offer free boxed lunches for students under 18. Lunches can be picked up in our drive through distribution site located in the back of the high school between 11:30am and 1:00pm. School offices will be open from 8am-11am during this time and teachers will be assigning homework beginning 4/1. Parents can call the school with questions or click the "more information link" for more detailed messages.

Reinforced Skills Plans/Remote Alternate Learning

There are two ways to access Riverview's Reinforced Skills Plans/Remote Alternate Learning. The first is by going to the Parent Information tab. Click Reinforced Skills Plans/Remote Alternate Learning. The second way is by clicking the headline, this will link you to school apps that are used in the classrooms and the Reinforced Skills Plans/Remote Alternate Learning. Please be sure to check the school's website, Facebook, or your child's classroom communication page (Class Dojo, Remind, or Seesaw) for any new information.

Charter Offers Free Internet Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days

Beginning Monday, March 16, Charter commits to the following for 60 days: Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households. Charter will partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely. Charter will continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, high speed broadband program to eligible low-income households delivering speeds of 30 Mbps. Charter will open its Wi-Fi hotspots across our footprint for public use. Spectrum does not have data caps or hidden fees.

SB 320 Mobile Library & Box Lunches Available at South Beloit High School, Weekdays

Starting Monday, March 30, SB 320 Mobile Library will be available for students to check out books at South Beloit High School with Box lunches. Starting Wednesday, March 18, the district will offer free boxed lunches for students under 18. Lunches can be picked up in our drive through distribution site located in the back of the high school between 11:30am and 1:00pm. This is available weekdays only through Thursday, April 30. School expected to resume Friday, May 1.
