Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin Friday, May 1st. You can access the registration page by going to https://www.sb320.org/apps/pages/registration or by logging into your Teacherease account. Families who register by Friday, May 29th, will be entered into a drawing to win a Blackstone grill. More details regarding registration are in the attached letter. Thanks so much.

On Monday, May 20th, Riverview will be hosting Battle of the Books. Fourth grade classrooms read "Frindle" and will start at 9:15. Second grade classrooms read "Junie B. Jones Smells Something Fishy and will start at 9:15. Third grade classrooms read "Shiloh" and will start at 10:15. Everyone is welcome to see which class wins each battle.

On Thursday, May 15th, you are invited to attend our Spelling Bee in Riverview's gym. Fourth Grade will be at 8:15; Second Grade at 9:15; and Third Grade at 10:15. Come join the fun.

South Beloit Food Pantry will be Wednesday, May 20th from 4:00PM- 6:00PM at Blackhawk Elementary. This will be the last one for this school year. Pantry is for ALL families in South Beloit. When school district is closed because of weather conditions the pantry will be closed. SOBO food pantry is completely free and open to the community. Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Riverview students will be participating in a Jog-a-thon on Thursday, May 14th from 10:00-11:00 am. The Purpose of the jog-a-thon is to raise money for our school while getting some exercise out on the path.

We will be running/jogging/walking on the path around the playground. Students will scan their Marathon Kids running cards to keep track of their laps.

Each student is asked to find sponsors (friends and family) that will donate money to our jog-a-thon cause.
A Prize will be given to the student that raises the most money and to the student that runs the most laps.

Riverview will be having their 4th Quarter and All School Year Awards on Thursday, May 21st in the gym. Everyone is invited to attend and help celebrate our students success. Times for each grade level are 2nd grade - 8:15; 3rd grade - 9:15; and 4th grade - 10:15. Come help us celebrate the achievements of our Riverview students!

The Boys and Girls Club last day of operation will be May 22. Our last day of school is June 1st. We need to know your child's after-school transportation plan for those days. Please return the letter that was sent home with your child by Wednesday May 6th. Please note, there will be no route changes after May 13th.

Riverview's Field Day is Wednesday, May 27th, 8:15-11:15. Students will be wearing their class shirts and playing games throughout the day. Please send sun lotion and a water bottle to protect your child from the sun and to keep hydrated. Sorry, no rain date. Join us and see all our games in action!

You're invited to Riverview's Summer Send Off! Come for Kona Ice and stay for games, activities, and yearbook signing! All this fun is happening on Thursday, May 28th from 4:00-5:00 pm, Riverview's playground. Sorry, there will not be a rain date.
