There will be no school for students on Friday, April 24th. This is a School Improvement Day. Enjoy your three day weekend.

Come one, come all! The South Beloit Drama Club is presenting the show "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th at 6:30 pm in the Michael M. Duffy Auditorium. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Cash Only.

Standing out from all the rest, proves that you strive to be the best! Mr. Doherty's Super Sobos! This student shows qualities from all 6 character pillars, and works to be the best they can be. On Monday, May 20th, Riverview will be hosting Battle of the Books. Fourth grade classrooms read "Frindle" and will start at 9:15. Second grade classrooms read "Junie B. Jones Smells Something Fishy and will start at 9:15. Third grade classrooms read "Shiloh" and will start at 10:15. Everyone is welcome to see which class wins each battle.

South Beloit Food Pantry will be Wednesday, May 20th from 4:00PM- 6:00PM at Blackhawk Elementary. This will be the last one for this school year. Pantry is for ALL families in South Beloit. When school district is closed because of weather conditions the pantry will be closed. SOBO food pantry is completely free and open to the community. Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

The Boys and Girls Club last day of operation will be May 22. Our last day of school is June 1st. We need to know your child's after-school transportation plan for those days. Please return the letter that was sent home with your child by Wednesday May 6th. Please note, there will be no route changes after May 13th.

Students entering 1st through 6th grade are invited to embark on a thrilling summer reading journey! Their mission? Read 8 books before summer ends. Books over 200 pages count as two books-perfect for the young bookworms who love a challenge. Please click on Title to get the form and all the information.
