2nd Quarter Book Project: 2-Liter Character Project
For this book project, your child will choose a fiction book. Your child will be creating a book character using an empty (& clean) 2-liter bottle. Your child will decorate the bottle to look like the main character in his/her book. This project will be created completely at home. (It will help if you put sand or rocks in the bottom of the 2-liter bottle for stability.)
After decorating the bottle, write the following on an index card: Title of the book; Author of the book; and Character’s name and your name.
On a piece of lined notebook paper, write a short paragraph (at least 5 sentences) describing the character you have created. You will need to include: what actions the character takes; how the character feels; and a favorite quote from your character.
This project will be due on Monday, October 6th.
